Twas a busy day yesterday.
Actually, they're all busy in the summer, but one has to get ready to be gone, the "things to do" seem endless and the clock ticks much too fast.
I found out Tuesday night that I would be going on a road trip, starting today.
For now, we'll leave the destination up to the imagination.
And, I'll be feeling really grateful that Bill was nice enough to say "go" and that he would watch over the place and the animals for the next few days.
Guess you'll have to wait until tomorrow's post to see where this trip ends.
It will be a day's drive and then a few days in the same place and then a drive home.
I'm hoping I have wi-fi to be able to post by the regular 8 a.m. time each day, but that's no guarantee.
So, keep checking and, for now, enjoy the photos from a Wednesday which included some intense scurrying around town, with my camera, of course.
Farmers Market in Sandpoint is reflecting the abundance we've all been enjoying from our gardens.
Wish I could grow carrots like Emily, a gardener extraordinaire who does her gardening here in the Selle Valley.
Emily's spread at yesterday's market was amazing.
Farmin Park was busy with the outdoor market, and the Pend Oreille River was alive with boating activities.
I was also reminded several times throughout the day of how lucky I am to be surrounded by and to continue to meet wonderful people.
The world may seem troublesome more often than not, but with each of these interactions, I know that we are doing okay.
Overall, it was a beautiful and hot day here in Sandpoint, and from what I've heard, the heat will go on.
Looking forward to sharing some of the sights from today's road trip and the adventure involved.
Happy Thursday.
