Another Oh Dark Thirty Morning as we get ready to head to the horse show for the last day.
Laurie and Roxzene have two more Regional Sport Horse Show classes this morning. Then, by noon, we should be on our way home to Sandpoint.
We've been hearing about the fire danger all around Sandpoint, but we were happy last evening to hear about the heavy rain that came with a thunder storm.
Maybe it provided enough moisture to stop those fires from spreading and wouldn't be nice if the smoke went away.
Whatever the case, we've been pretty lucky this year with comparatively minimal fire problems. Let's hope that continues.
In the meantime, it's been a fun show. The news of the day yesterday: Roxzene won her first ever Top Five plaque and ribbon in one class and later won a reserve championship in another.
We were all so proud and happy for her.
Laurie and Pache picked up a champion and reserve championship in their two classes.
There's a good chance they'll add to their winnings this morning.
Memories of a gorgeous facility, beautiful horses, good times and fun new friends continue to unfold.
It's been a great trip and a wonderful show.
As always, though, I'm looking forward to seeing Bill and the beloveds.
Thank you, Laurie, for asking me along. Much appreciated.
Happy Sunday to all.

You would look pretty sharp driving CB around the neighborhood with that cart. Little Foster could ride in the seat beside you. Just sayin'.
