Well, it definitely was the "sunny side of life" yesterday and truly a day to lap it all up.
Sunnyside seemed to be the perfect place to go on a gorgeous January day.
I hadn't driven the peninsula road for a few months so the Sunnyside Hill Farm Stand was new to me.
Next time I'll stop and see what's inside. Through the window, I could see clothes on hangers.
What a perfect place to have a farm stand. More and more a popping up out in the countryside, and I think it's pretty neat.
The drive itself involved a lot of stops and sometimes some surprises in my rear view mirror as I stop to take a picture on what I thought was an empty road.
So, my stops also included a lot of pulling over and let folks drive by. Selfish reasons, of course. I could once again have the road to myself.
And, so many glorious reasons for that wish as virtually every view begged for a picture.
I spent a little time walking along the shoreline at Hawkins Point where a fisherman had his poles set up along the shoreline and bonfire further away for keeping warm.
The drive to and from Sunnyside was enjoyable also.
On my way home, I took East Shingle Mill Road and saw a trio of women with two dogs. Having seen one of them out dog walking before, I was pretty sure while rolling closer that I knew one of them.
Sure enough, Suzy Van Den Berg, having finished her teaching day and her friends were out enjoying the beautiful weather.
I think the dogs were having a good time too.

And, while we are on the subject of dogs. How about the scene below!
Good dog and good Pope, for sure.
Francis knows Border Collies.

It's Game Day again.
Tonight we have to stay up late for our ZAGS fix.
The game starts at 8 p.m. PST
I've read that it's televised on CBS Sports (DISH Channel 158) and You Tube TV.
The ZAGS (14-4) are playing an away game at Oregon State (13-5).
Should be a great match-up.
GO, ZAGS!!!
A Few Thursday Throwbacks
Today I was reminded of how much we all miss that guy named Johnny, second from the right: Johnny Nitcy, a wonderful teacher and friend.
Recognize anyone else?
