We've been blessed with a super weekend to go along with the Super Bowl, so the photos can do the talking.
Some Sandpoint-area standards here: I love Grouse Mountain northeast of Sandpoint, and I love the lone silo sitting out in a Selle farm field. So, I stopped along East Shingle Mill Road yesterday and captured the two of them together.
If I were to title this collection of photos, it would have to include the word "snow-capped," for sure.
I don't spend much time at City Beach these days and had never driven out to the new and improved jetty north of the Edgewater until yesterday.
The spot makes a nice place for shooting photos for almost 360 degrees.
It was fun taking new shots of old favorites: Schweitzer Mountain and its ski runs, Baldy Mountain and the City Beach.
Later, while in the Selle area, both the Cabinets and the Selkirks were putting on a good show. I have a feeling we're going to enjoy a "beauty overkill" this weekend.
And, that's one situation I never mind one bit.
Bill's bought his ribs and his Stubbs original barbecue sauce in preparation for tomorrow's Dutch-oven rib dish---part of our Super Bowl feast. In the meantime, we'll just get out and enjoy this day and a few basketball games.
Have a Super Saturday.
