Love's Mille Cache and Stuff

I borrowed photos from Hawaii for this morning.  That "blushing" lady on the left is Annie aka Mia Wallace.  Mind you, only the sun in paradise would make her blush.

She's quite proud of an her epic accomplishment yesterday.  Somewhere in a sand bar on the North Coast of Oahu, she found her 1,000th geocache.

A few weeks ago, she announced a cache that she would be placing and invited Hawaiian geocachers to check it out.

Kayaks, brilliant sunshine, a beautiful sand bar and a great gathering in Paradise---all accessories to another fantastic geocaching adventure for "Love," aka "Mia Wallace" aka Miss Annie Love, Sandpoint, Idaho.

I admit to a little envy, although we are enjoying the onslaught of spring beauty here.

We do have to put up with what sounds like a wild wind event today and maybe a little rain, but the rest of the week is looking good and WARM.

On another front in Love family activities, Willie and Debbie returned late last night or early this morning from their four-day trip to San Francisco.  Turns out our brother Jim met them and Barbara at Portland Airport, so he's here in Sandpoint too.

I know the Sandpoint High School newspaper and yearbook won a few awards, including another Superior for one of my sister Barbara's Monticola photographers----her second consecutive.

Now, it definitely sounds like that's one young lady with a future in photography. Apparently, one session of the national conference showcased a bunch of her photos and then asked if she was in the audience.  She stood up and was given a standing ovation.  Pretty cool.

On the doggie front, I'm thinking Brooke and Todd are gonna pretty excited today when they see their mom and dad for the first time in four days.  The grandpups had a nice weekend here at the Lovestead----only two Brooke sneak-offs to the neighbors and a quick retrieval on both.

I've been talking to Kiwi and asking her why, if she insists on herding Brooke all the time, why she allows her off the place.  Kiwi, as yet, has given me no answers.

Anyway, life moves on as April winds down.

Today involves a trip down Selle Road to the Flower Farm to load up on pansies and add some striking spring color to the pots and planters around the deck.  Can't wait until the weather allows me to put out those red geraniums.

Guess that's enough.  Have a happy Monday.
