On This Lovely Day . . .

It IS a 3-letter-word day, and we'll take it. We're never the kind to turn our back on the sun, unless it's so bright we can see.
I may go up to that thar hill today with my camera.  It's the last week of the season at Schweitzer, and I hope to catch a  few good photos, especially of the employee who's worked up there the second longest---45 years.  John Pucci has him beat--46 years, but John's retired, and he sez he's gonna be up there skiing.   Great day for it!

For my sister-in-law Mary.  Wish it were a closer, better shot, but Miss Moosie went into the woods.  I think  the crow---not my presence, of course----chased her there.  Plus, Duke, the neighbor dog, kept telling her to get lost.  So, she did.  Last night, I spotted her again while riding my bike.  When I heard Anderson's horses snort while transfixed on something to the east, I had a feeling she may be around.  She was----standing by a tree in Anderson's driveway.

Murray's fence, catching a few early-morning rays.

Anderson's fence, hoping Miss Moosie doesn't jump over and break it.

Back home from the morning stroll.  I figured this would make a nice real estate photo.  For Sale:  Lovestead, $6 million, with terms.   Must continue to protect the wolves, the Border Collies and the kangaroos and . . .
. . . the Kontented Kitties!

Finally . . . these little darlings aren't quite ready for driver's licenses, but they're getting close.
Happy 11th Birthday, Grace, Justine and Jacob.

Sunshine! Definitely a great way to start the week. And our Miss Moose sighting on Sunday was a real treat. She was a charmer, in a moose sort of way.
