Monday Photopotpourri

I started hearing from Claudia who lives in Germany a few days ago.  Annie would be arriving in Munich on Sunday, and the geocoin/geocaching crew wanted to surprise her.  So, Claudia needed Annie's size.  She tried to get Annie a Dirndl with the Seattle Sounders colors, but that didn't work out. So, she settled for pink.
I don't think Annie cared about the colors; I think she was more than pleasantly surprised and thrilled to go change into her Bavarian costume.  Claudia told me it was a perfect fit, so all went well.  Nice and very gracious of the German hosts to show Annie such a great time.

Of course, there's business to be discussed at all these gatherings where Annie visits. She meets with geocachers and discusses all the aspects of the sport, which at this time of the year in Europe deals with beautiful geocoins.  Today Annie heads on to Austria; tomorrow, Vienna.  Eventually she'll reach Prague for the European GeoCoinfest this weekend.

New pup at the Laumatia home.  I got to meet him yesterday while Rory and Jacob held him for a photo.

While I was meeting the pup, Laura was collapsed on the floor at the cabin.  What a wuss?  So what if she'd just finished a 20-mile run. I'm wondering how her body is feeling today.

I attended a late-afternoon wedding yesterday in Jeff Jones Town Square.  It was very warm so the fans serving as programs were pretty nice to have.

The bride and groom greeting guests in the reception line at Pend Oreille Winery.  Bryant Jones and his bride Marie Castinelli.  Congratulations.

Bryant's good friend Tasha Thomas, her friend and her mom.  I had both Tasha and Bryant as English students two consecutive years at Sandpoint High School.  No, they did not flunk.  They were honors students both times.  Both lead very successful lives, with Bryant working at the White House Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C., and Tasha working for Nike in Beaverton, Ore.

Two beloved former students from the SHS Class of 1978:  Rebekah Hawkins and Mitzi Hawkins, cousin-in-laws.  Nice hats!
