This, That; TBT

My dear friend and blog editor Helen Newton is getting the top billing today as a featured contributor.

I just read this piece in the Bonner County Daily Bee and thought to myself, "Helen, well said."

It's an especially good column because it quotes another Sandpoint sage of few words, Pat Gooby.

Hope you enjoy Helen's thoughts as much as I did, and that you'll see why she's served as my blog editor for 19-plus years.

Long trip, big win.

Willie, his coaching staff and his team took a loooong trip yesterday to go win a game.

They traveled to Southern Idaho to compete in a three-day tournament.

Soon after leaving the bus which took them 498.1 miles to Idaho Falls, they took to the floor and won their first game of the tournament.

Read all about it in Max Oswald's story.

The Bulldogs are now 10-1.

Congratulations to all.

The doggies and I spent some quality time out in the hay field yesterday.

Little Foster gets to let loose in the field because it's so big he can't bump into anything.
