SO Proud

This morning I want to dedicate today's blog posting to five young adults who graduate as the Senior Class of 2020.

Our family has had the pleasure of watching them grow up.

We've seen them as adorable toddlers, precocious children, involved, unique and productive teens and, more recently, as fast-forward adults after the Pandemic changed the course of their respective senior years of high school.

The Class of 2020, including these five impressive 18-year-olds, moves forward with an historical distinction like no other.

Happily, each of these graduates can also say the same about their individual lives, the paths they've chosen and the paths on which they intend to embark.

I think I can speak for our family and their vast extended families in saying to each of you---Jacob, Justine, Grace, Jade and Rory---that WE ARE PROUD OF YOU.

We are also honored to say "we knew you when," in regard to all that you have experienced, pursued and achieved as curious and engaged kids, teens and young adults.

May each of you take your individual talents, your foundations and lessons learned through your first 18 years and set off to make your unique difference in this world.

Stay grounded.

Pursue a few paths less traveled.

Always remember your roots and stay connected.

Work hard.

Be kind.

Stay true to yourselves.

Reach high.

Always strive for happiness  and personal satisfaction in whatever you do.

Make a difference.

We love you all so much.

Congratulations!

Remember that the best is yet to come.

Happy Graduations!

Best of luck on the journeys ahead.

We old fogeys in your lives will be keeping track and will always be cheering you on!
