How many times have I made similar statements in the past several weeks?
Seems like plenty.
I kinda welcomed the storm which blew in late yesterday afternoon. It seemed like a good time to kick back and take it easy after a few days of hurrying on to "the next thing."
So, once the horses were up from pasture and the dogs in the house from a day in the run, both Bill and I spent a relaxing Friday evening watching TV and piecing on items from the cupboards, refrigerator or freezer for our Friday-night dinner.
We had already done a Friday lunch at MickDuffs with our friend Marcia, the local travel planner extraordinaire.
Marcia is now home from taking groups on three different trips in the past month or so--one to the South Pacific and two to Ireland.
So, it was fun hearing her stories and listening to her tips for our upcoming family adventure.
I know our trip is getting close cuz I have a new set of underwear. Always a must for any big trip.
I've also cleaned out my fanny pack and back pack so both have more space.
Such little tasks completed each day not only generate excitement but also alleviate last-minute stress.
Maybe during today's rain, I'll organize some clothes.
Anywho, that adventure is exciting to think about on a rainy day.
Not much else on my mind this morning, so I'll simply call it a day and wish everyone a wonderful Saturday.
Stay dry.
