All five Love's were here this weekend.
So, we had a family celebration, honoring Willie's Bulldogs winning the State Championship.
The highlight was watching the Championship game video again on Willie and Debbie's big screen TV.
And, of course, there was food.
We managed to keep ourselves nourished on munchies and a full-fledged lasagna dinner with French silk pie for dessert.
In the midst of it all, Joe and Kenny enjoyed several "tugging" marathons.
Pepper, the precocious kitty, flitted here and there around the house and even watched part of the first Seattle Sounders first match up close and personal while cradled in Willie's arms. The Sounders won 4-0.
Before Bill, Annie and I left to come home, Debbie called for a family selfie, so we did that too.
Back at home, we were noticing that Facebook was lighting up with pictures of the Northern Lights---from all around the world.
Annie and I went out with our cameras a little before 9 and walked down the lane but no Northern Lights.
Later, after I was sound asleep at 10:30, Annie captured some photos of the colorful night sky phenomenon and posted them on her Facebook page.
It's refreshing to see a natural happening that affects us worldwide, and, unlike the Pandemic, to enjoy its amazing beauty.

We received two or three inches of new snow yesterday. For a time, it was pretty dicy, especially when it accumulated on the bottoms of my Yak Trax.
I know what horses go through when a couple of inches of snow clings to their hooves and turns hard. Not easy walking.
In addition, the snow hid all the huge patches of ice, causing one to take each step very carefully.
Fortunately, this morning, the moisture in the snow has dissipated, making conditions easier.
My brownie patch continues to grow. Those tomatoes will soon be finding new and bigger pots to inhabit.
My morning chore pal, Miss Bridie.
She always remains on the hay stack with the gate closed while I lead horses to the barnyard.
Every day I become more amazed with the precision of her observation. A simple "Go to the barnyard," and, immediately, to the barnyard gate she goes.
Fun having her with me in the mornings. And, she doesn't mind the horse apples.
It's been a fun family weekend, but all good things must end. Annie will head back to Seattle this afternoon, and we'll all get back to our normal routines.
I have finished two story assignments and will be working on odds and ends until weather permits me get to projects associated with gardening and general clean-up. It looks like I may be waiting a few days for that to happen.
I'm sure I'll find something to occupy my time.
Happy Monday.
