Odds and Ends

Bill and I agree that the image above is one of the prettiest sights imaginable.

It's all perspective, of course, but when you live on a farm where the grass is green and the beautiful Border Collies are running, it's a beloved and heart-warming scene.

We never tire of moments like this, and the dogs don't seem to mind putting on a show.

Where in the tall, green grass is little Foster Love?

Just call him, and he will come.

Glad to see how the hospital and library board elections in Bonner County went yesterday.

Sad to see that the school levy in West Bonner County is touch and go. Too close to call, they say.

Other school levies just south of us passed, so that's good news.

Bill and I think AND hope that we're starting to see a change in the pendulum swing which has swung so extremely the past few years.

I've always believed in moderation in elections and with life in general. Hope we're correct.

Yesterday was also a good day for yard and garden work.  I'm almost done with the planting, and, this morning, started some weeding.

The corn is up and the more potato plants are appearing each day, so it will be safe for weeding those areas.

Still loving the weather of late and appreciating an easier and, so far, more successful gardening season than usual.

Looking forward to getting outside after watching some more of the movie mentioned below.

So, Happy Wednesday!

Some fun stuff in the link below.

For locals, you may know most of the people featured in this documentary.

For others, it's an interesting and poignant story about a group of North Idahoans competing in the Baja 1,000 bike adventure. It's extremely well done.

I ran across the link yesterday on a Facebook friend's page, saved it and started watching.

I'll probably watch the documentary in segments because it's two hours long.

But I'm hooked and thrilled to see a couple of folks from our Selle neighborhood and a former student featured.

Check it out.

Haven't heard much from Annie yet today, but I'm sure she'll have today's post up soon.
