It's a father-son duo (Sandpoint connected) at the West Coast Conference Tournament last night, and they should be happy with another day in Las Vegas to watch the ZAGS.
Jeff and Ed Bock and The ZAG Nation from all over the world had a good night last night, albeit late.
The ZAGS defeated the San Francisco Dons in the tournament semifinals.
That opened the way for yet another meeting with their perennial nemesis Saint Mary's.
Maybe "third time's a charm" will work for the ZAGS tonight as they battle the Gaels for the WCC Tourney Championship.
The game starts at 6 p.m. PDT, and it will be broadcast on ESPN.
GO, ZAGS!!!!
My classmates and good friends, Rick and Janet, have never met a sports event they didn't like, especially the
West Coast Tournament in Las Vegas.
I asked Janet to send me a photo, so she did.
Thanks, Janet, and keep cheering for those ZAGS.
Meanwhile, another classmate Karen Martin Rolf has been busy all winter, coming up with creative ideas and keeping close track of classmates found and classmates still needing to be contacted for our 60th-year class reunion this coming September.
Our planning committee met yesterday, and Karen brought a sample of her latest SHS-related handiwork.
Below: I talked ever so briefly on the phone with classmate Sharon Clark Bayless's daughter Sherrill.
And, of course, a photo of Sherrill in Nebraska was needed.
Sherrill is moving back to Sandpoint next month. Her mom has been almost giddy about the move.
And, we've been told by Sharon that Sherrill will happily volunteer to help with our reunion.
Welcome home, Sherrill.
The more the merrier.
We committee members are having a great time getting together and making the plans.
Plus, yesterday in our quest to call someone in the class out of the blue during our meetings, we did a group call yesterday to Wendy Kenworthy who's living in Hawaii.
She wasn't home to answer her phone, so we left her an enthusiastic and collective message.
As someone said a time or two, it's probably just as much or more fun to do the planning as the reunion itself.

The funky yard ornaments have to step up to the plate to offer a little color around the yard.
It's pretty bland out there on these March days.
A few tiny flakes of snow were doing their best this morning to whiten up the ground, but most melted before hitting the surface.
Not a whole lot else of on my lazy mind this morning except positive ZAG vibes for tonight, so will just wish all a Happy Tuesday.
